Notes from Around the League- Rivalry Week Edition
  • Tesus Crusades features an impressive collection of talent in three major categories: he has two of the top 3 backs in the league (Ray Rice and Jamaal Charles), two of the top 5 tight ends (Owen Daniels and Heath Miller), and two of the top three defenses (Houston and Arizona).
  • The Real McCoy, out of the four players represented in the top five in their respective categories, has three of them that are near the top of their respective categories that were all drafted after the 5th round.
  • Gothams Reckoning, the #1 team in the league, has zero top 5 tight ends, defenses or runningbacks. Also, he has two of the top 5 wide receivers in the league on his team (Green and Harvin).
  • Here is a tracker of all the first round draft picks thus far in the season: 1. Arian Foster (#1 in RB ppg), 2. Ray Rice (#2 in RB ppg), 3. LeSean McCoy (# in RB ppg), 4. Aaron Rodgers (#5 in QB ppg), 5. Tom Brady (#5 in QB ppg), 6. Chris Johnson (#31 in RB ppg), 7. Calvin Johnson (#6 in WR ppg), 8. Darren McFadden (#17 in RB ppg), 9. Matt Forte (#18 in RB ppg)**NOTE: has been injured, so clearly having a good season, and 10. Drew Brees (#1 in QB ppg).
  • As a result, the worst pick so far in 2012 of the first round goes to..........Show Me Your TDs for selecting the #31 RB through 5 weeks, Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans. The best draft pick, despite Arian Foster's gaudy 20.8 ppg at #1 overall, has to go to Brax To Da Max selecting QB Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints.

  1. Thanks for the shout out for worst 1st round pick! I'd like to start off thanking Chris of course, without his awful play this wouldn't be possible. I'd also like to thank the commish for trading with me so he got off my team.

    Thanks to all!
